Anticipating Minds is a company focused on building intelligent software development tools. Our strategy is to create products that manage the complexity of software development through a deep understanding of code. By solving the problems of software complexity, all the members of the development organization can rise above the mundane details with increased productivity and competence, freeing minds to innovate.

As fellow developers we were frustrated with the scale and inadequacy of enterprise life-cycle products.  Instead of burdening the development staff with unrealistic guidelines we focused on empowering the development staff in delivering corporate needs within the bounds of any sound technology and processes.  The goal is to deliver immediate value to the critical pains within the development lifecycle.

Anticipating Minds began in 2002 by investing in R&D to create an extensible platform and foundation with which to build a family of tools that understand code with the purpose of changing it.  devAdvantage, the first in this family of tools, coupled the concepts of static code analysis with refactoring; integrating what might be called a virtual peer programmer into the development environment.

Anticipating Minds is dedicated to building a strong brand on the foundations of deep technical expertise and a genuine dedication to our customers.  Please join and watch the Anticipating Minds team and our partners work to advance the state of software development.
